In an effort to move beyond their image as “the big bad regulator”, the Ministry of Environment engaged Oculus to create a brand identity to apply to all of their outreach and communication materials.
The identity uses rich colours based on and complementing the Province’s brand palette in order to project a unique but still recognizably Provincial image.
A bi-annual report was the first use of the new identity. Oculus provided design, copywriting and production, and the report was very well received both by internal stakeholders and the target audience.
Following up on the success of the report, we worked with the Land Remediation Section to create branded materials and signage for a provincial conference on industry and regulatory issues.
